Getting started with your new iPhone is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to set up your device and connect it to Flex Mobile service.
1. Turn On Your iPhone
Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears.
Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and Wi-Fi network.
2. Insert or Activate Your SIM
Physical SIM: Use the SIM ejector tool (or a paperclip) to open the SIM tray. Insert your Flex Mobile SIM card, gold side facing down.
eSIM: If you received an eSIM, log in to Flex MyAccount → select View eSIM Activation Code, then scan the QR code on your iPhone.
3. Sign In with Your Apple ID
Enter your Apple ID and password (or create one if you don’t have one).
This allows you to download apps, back up your data, and use services like iMessage and iCloud.
4. Set Up Face ID or Touch ID
Follow the prompts to set up Face ID (facial recognition) or Touch ID (fingerprint recognition).
You’ll also create a passcode for added security.
5. Restore or Transfer Your Data
Choose how you’d like to set up your new iPhone:
Quick Start: Bring your old iPhone near your new one and follow the prompts.
iCloud Backup: Restore from a previous backup stored in iCloud.
iTunes / Finder Backup: Restore from your computer.
Set Up as New: Start fresh without transferring old data.
6. Customize Your Settings
Turn on Location Services for maps and apps.
Enable Siri if you’d like to use voice commands.
Adjust notification and privacy settings to your preference.
7. Activate Flex Mobile Service
Once your SIM or eSIM is in place, your phone should automatically connect to the Flex Mobile network.
If you transferred your number, restart your device after the port-in completes.
Place a test call and open a webpage to confirm your service is active.
8. Download Must-Have Apps
Visit the App Store to download your favorite apps.
We recommend also downloading the Flex Mobile app (coming soon!) to manage your plan and perks in one place.
