How to Find Your Phone’s IMEI Number

Your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number is a unique identifier for your device. You may need it for things like activating your service or reporting a lost phone.

There are several easy ways to find it:

1. Dial a Code

Works on iPhone and Android

• Open your phone’s dial pad.
• Enter #06#.
• Your IMEI number will appear on the screen automatically.

2. Check Your Phone’s Settings

On iPhone:

• Go to Settings > General > About.
• Scroll down to see the IMEI number.

On Android:

• Open Settings.
• Tap About phone > Status (or IMEI information).
• Your IMEI will be listed there.

3. Look on the Device or Packaging

• SIM Tray: On many iPhones, the IMEI is printed on the SIM card tray.
• Under the Battery: If your phone has a removable battery, the IMEI may be on a sticker beneath it.
• Original Box: You’ll often find the IMEI printed on the packaging your phone came in.
