1. Check the Battery (if removable)
- Make sure the battery is properly seated, and the back cover is secure.
- Remove and reinsert the battery if needed.
Note: Most newer devices have built-in batteries. If your device doesn't have a removable battery, skip to Step 2.
2. Use a Known Working Charger
- Plug the charger firmly into your device.
- Connect it to a wall outlet (not a USB port or power strip, if possible).
Look for a charging icon or screen lighting up. If nothing happens:
- Try a different wall outlet
- Try a different charging cable and adapter (if available)
3. Check the Charging Port
- Gently inspect the charging port for any dust, debris, or damage.
- Use a dry, soft brush or clean, dry toothbrush to remove any visible debris.
4. Look for Signs of Charging
- Even if your screen is off, you might feel a vibration, see a charging icon, or notice the battery indicator after a few minutes of being plugged in.
Some devices need to charge for a few minutes before they’ll power back on—give it time!
Still Not Charging?
If your device still doesn’t respond:
- Try a different charger and outlet again
- Let it charge for at least 15–30 minutes before turning it on
- Ensure there is no visible damage to the charging port or cable
