If you're unable to access mobile data to browse the web, use apps, or stream content, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Follow the steps below to get your connection back up and running.
Step 1: Check Your Wi-Fi Connection
Sometimes, your phone may try to use Wi-Fi even if the connection is weak. Here’s how to test it:
- Turn Wi-Fi OFF in your device settings.
- Try opening a web page or app that requires data.
- If the internet starts working with Wi-Fi off, the issue is likely your Wi-Fi network. We recommend contacting your home Internet Service Provider (ISP).
- If you're still not connected, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Perform a Network Reset
Resetting your network settings will erase saved Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth pairings, and reset mobile data settings. It’s a simple but powerful way to fix connection issues.
For Android:
- Open Settings
- Tap System (or General Management)
- Tap Reset or Reset Options
- Select Reset Network Settings
- Confirm and restart your device
For iPhone (iOS):
- Open Settings
- Tap General → Transfer or Reset iPhone
- Tap Reset
- Select Reset Network Settings
- Enter your passcode (if prompted) and confirm
- Your phone will restart
Still Not Working?
If you’ve tried the steps above and are still having trouble accessing mobile data:
- Make sure Mobile Data is turned ON
- Check for Airplane Mode (should be OFF)
- Confirm your account is active and your plan includes data
- Ensure your SIM card is properly inserted
